Most often, we think of viruses as bad things, as most of the time they disrupt some type of balance that exists. Marta's invitation got me thinking - what if we consider LOVE a virus, and we invite it into our lives to disrupt any imbalance where love does not exist??

Hi Laura and Luca,
Thank you for your wonderful newsletter. I agree with you wholeheartedly that we all crave community in some way or another, and all express that desire differently depending on whether we are extraverted or introverted, young or old, a city dweller or live in the country, etc etc etc. With holiday parties, that community building is easy, enriching, and celebratory. And at the same time I am reminded frequently of the other kind of community building- far more mundane- and yet profoundly important to all of us- that depends on a kind of daily discipline of cleaning up after ourselves, anticipating other people's needs, taking responsibility for our impact on others (even when it wasn't intended), and following through doing what we promised we would do. All those unrecognized things that people do for one another every day- from taking out the garbage to just listening to one another, are like the many pillars in a cathedral. Without them, we'd collapse. And what's wonderful about it is that we have the opportunity to BE in community through these little mundane things every moment of every day. What a blessing.

Marta, Thank you for the lovely blog. I was touched by the words. Can you share some more on how love is contagious? I have found that even just a smile as you pass a stranger makes them a friend for that moment. Have you experienced similar joys of spreading unconditional love?

As I get into HOLIDAY SPIRIT with so much JOY in my heart, my intent as I play into the season is to be fully present with each being I encounter, sharing fully the message of LOVE, which is so simple, just being there with the other in full communion. It is full enjoyment, savoring the words, the touch, the laughter, the celebration, the tears, the warmth and synchronized movement as we honor our breathing and sensing. ONE'S LOVE IS CONTAGIOUS, ENJOY!!!
