Dear Gino,
When I wrote this story, I did look at the 2010 calendar, and knew the exact path I was creating in my near future, and what it would bring. At this point I decided to go outside of the balance I created in my life in pursuit of a greater accomplishment. At the risk of a perceived temporary loss of balance, I followed what I knew in my heart. The rewards have been great, and are leading me deeper into my acceptance of a more adventurous but a truly satisfying future. I believe this is true for all who have the courage to follow their passions. You have inspired me to write this recipe.

Recipe for Bringing Passion to Your Life!

Accept total responsibility for the conditions in your life and appreciate everything about life you have now! Take the time feel all of your emotions and use all of your senses, to see, feel, touch, taste, and smell. Make constant daily decisions to respect yourself on what you do, desire, and feel; you will know and feel validated when you align with what is the truth in your heart. Painful feelings will arise, don’t hide or run away from your feelings, learn to understand them, and know you can learn to see the truth in all experiences. Pay attention to what you feel, and do what you feel is right. Be open to discovering you, and have the confidence to trust you have everything you need waiting inside of your heart.

I have two questions for you. Did you spin our articles? Are they posted where we can see them? It is flattering to be copied! Really, in all seriousness, as a spinner you know the truth, there is only one truth. Collectively “we” though many voices put our unique “spin” on our messages and attempt to get them across to others. I am a huge reader. What I am “spinning” in my writing is my research on cultivating emotional balance, and its applications to our society. Anything I write is on the basis of my own experience, and the information written by many others who have thought this subject to be extremely important. Can you read another’s emotions and show them the direction in which they are traveling? Do you look at their willingness to take advantage of opportunities, and adaptability to change? Do you look at person’s general presence, their level of confidence, and not so hidden desires? Through nonverbal clues much can be read by those who seek the knowledge. I like to write directly to the reader to convey a feeling I have and attempt to evoke the reader’s own emotional response to the subject. I think what you liked was the feeling you had inside yourself when you read the articles.
